I've lived in several different places in my life.
Dallas, where I appreciated being on Central time because everything happened earlier. Indianapolis, where daylight savings wasn't practiced until recently. Atlanta, where it seemed to get dark so early, but where the heat remained whether or not the sun was visible.
And here, in Cleveland, where I'm currently loving daylight savings.
Thank you, Cleveland, for lighter mornings, which make me want to get up with the sun. And for darker nights, which make it easier to go to bed early and get a good night's sleep.
